Saint Barthélemy

Saint Barthélemy is a small French island in the Caribbean, known for its quiet coves, clear water and a pace that stays slow even in high season. It suits travellers who want privacy and a settled routine rather than a busy resort scene, and who are happy to build their days around the water, the hills and long meals. A stay here usually means a villa, which gives you your own space, your own kitchen and the freedom to set your own rhythm. Mornings are for swimming or a walk before the heat settles in, afternoons for shade and a book, evenings for cooking in or eating out in the island's French-Creole style. Two villas are listed on this page.
