These terms apply when you use StayHoliday and when you book a stay or a holiday with us. Please read them before you book: confirming a booking means you accept them.
StayHoliday is operated by DIGITAL WEB GROUP LIMITED, 2nd Floor College House 17 King Edwards Road,, RUISLIP, London, HA4 7AE - UNITED KINGDOM. You can reach us at [email protected] or +40 749 492 333.
We sell stays in holiday homes and ready-made holidays that we select ourselves. Every listing is published by us: the site is not a marketplace, and property owners do not list or sell here directly. Your contract for the booking is with DIGITAL WEB GROUP LIMITED.
You need an account to book. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and your contact details up to date: we use them to send confirmations, payment notices and arrival information. You must be at least 18 to book.
We may suspend an account that is used fraudulently, abusively, or to hold dates with no intention of travelling.
A booking is confirmed only when you receive our confirmation email with a booking reference. If a hold runs out before payment is completed, the booking lapses, nothing is charged and the dates return to sale.
The lead guest must be one of the travellers, is responsible for the whole group, and must make sure the number of guests does not exceed what was booked.
Prices are shown in the currency of the listing. The total on the last step of checkout is the total you pay: it includes the accommodation or holiday price, any cleaning fee and our service fee. Local tourist taxes payable on site, where they apply, are mentioned on the listing.
For holidays, the listing states what is included and what is not. Anything not listed as included, such as flights, transfers, meals or excursions, is not part of the price.
We correct obvious pricing errors. If a price was clearly wrong when you booked, we will tell you and you may choose between paying the correct price and cancelling with a full refund.
Each listing has a payment plan, shown to you with amounts and dates before you confirm. Depending on the listing, you pay in full when booking, pay a deposit with the rest later, pay in equal instalments, or reserve with a saved card that is charged in full before arrival.
When part of the price is due later and you pay by card, you authorise us to charge the card you saved, automatically, on the dates in your payment plan. Card details are collected and stored by our payment provider, Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We email you 3 days before each automatic charge, and you can replace the saved card from your booking page.
If an automatic charge is refused, we email you and you have 48 hours to pay from your booking page. If a payment due by bank transfer is not received within 5 days of its due date, or a refused card payment is not settled within those 48 hours, we may cancel the booking; the cancellation policy then applies to what you have already paid.
Where bank transfer is offered, the booking is confirmed when the money arrives in our account, not when the transfer is sent.
Each listing shows its cancellation policy, which you accept at checkout. The details, and how refunds are paid, are in our cancellation and refund policy. To change dates or guests, message us from your booking: we will help where we can, and tell you about any price difference before anything changes.
We very rarely cancel a confirmed booking. If a property becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control, such as serious damage, a safety problem or an order from the authorities, we will tell you as soon as we know and offer you a comparable alternative or a full refund of everything you paid, whichever you prefer.
Please follow the house rules shown on the listing and accepted at checkout, respect check-in and check-out times, and treat the property and the neighbours with care. You are responsible for damage caused by your group beyond normal wear and tear.
If something is wrong when you arrive, tell us straight away so we can put it right during your stay. Complaints raised only after departure are much harder to resolve fairly.
We describe every listing as accurately as we can and we are responsible for providing what you booked. We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, such as weather, strikes, travel disruption or the acts of third parties, nor for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our failure. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law, including liability that cannot legally be excluded. We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation and medical costs.
Write to us first at [email protected]: we aim to reply within 2 working days and to resolve complaints within 14 days. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also use your national consumer protection body or an alternative dispute resolution body. These terms are governed by the law of the country in which DIGITAL WEB GROUP LIMITED is established, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to a booking is the one in force on the day you made it.
