Despre Ionian Islands

The Ionian Islands sit off Greece's western coast, a green, softer counterpart to the Cyclades. Expect cypress and olive groves, Venetian-influenced harbour towns, and clear water that shifts from pale turquoise to deep blue. Each island has its own character, from busy Corfu to quiet, pine-backed coves elsewhere. It suits travellers who want to swim, eat simply and well, and move at an unhurried pace. We list six villas across the islands, so a stay here is likely to be a self-catering one, with your own space and a base for day trips to beaches and villages. Mornings are for coffee outside, afternoons for the sea, evenings for a long dinner. The season runs roughly from spring to autumn, warm and mostly dry through summer.
