Despre Roma

Rome is a city where ancient ruins sit beside busy piazzas and neighbourhood trattorias, and where a walk in any direction turns up something worth stopping for. It suits travellers who like to explore on foot, mix monuments with everyday street life, and take their time over long lunches and evening passeggiate. A stay here usually means basing yourself in an apartment or villa and living a little like a local: morning coffee standing at a bar, afternoons wandering between churches, fountains and markets, and dinners that stretch late into the evening. Spring and autumn are especially pleasant for sightseeing, while summer is hot and lively. Come ready to walk a lot and to let the city set the pace.
