La Croix-Valmer

La Croix-Valmer is a small town on the Mediterranean coast of Provence, sitting between the Maures hills and the sea. It is known for its pine-backed coastline, the beaches of Gigaro and its quiet, unshowy character. People who stay here tend to want long days outside, easy access to the water and a slower pace than the busier resorts along this stretch of the Côte d'Azur. Our places to stay in La Croix-Valmer are villas, which suits families and groups who like their own space, a kitchen and time by the garden or terrace. Days fill with swimming, walking the coastal paths and driving to nearby villages for markets and lunch. Evenings are warm and unhurried, and the hills behind town give the light that particular Provençal softness.
