Despre Massa Lubrense

Massa Lubrense sits on the Sorrento Peninsula in Campania, between the Bay of Naples and the Amalfi Coast. It is a spread-out, mostly rural area of small villages, olive and lemon groves, and steep slopes dropping toward the sea. The coastline here is rocky and varied, with several small bathing spots and views across the water to Capri. It suits travellers who want quiet and space, and who don't mind driving or walking to get to the water. It is less built-up and less busy than Sorrento. Our places to stay here are villas, which makes sense in an area where privacy and outdoor space matter. Days tend to be slow: breakfast outside, a walk or a drive down to the coast, cooking at home in the evening. Having a car helps you reach the villages and the sea. In summer it is hot and bright; spring and autumn are milder and calmer. This is a good base if you want the peninsula's scenery without staying in the middle of it.
