Nice

Nice sits on the French Riviera, where the Baie des Anges curves along a long seafront promenade and the old town's narrow streets open onto markets and cafés. It is a city that mixes urban life with the sea: you can spend a morning swimming and an afternoon wandering museums or climbing the hill for the view over the rooftops and water. The climate is mild most of the year, which makes strolling and sitting outside a pleasure in almost any season. We list apartments and a villa here, so stays range from a base in the city to a more private retreat. Days tend to be unhurried: coffee in the morning, time by the water or in the markets, and long evenings when the light softens over the bay. It suits people who like a place with both a coastline and a real city behind it.
