Plintri

Plintri is a small settlement on Mykonos in the South Aegean, part of the quieter, more residential side of the island. It sits in the hills above the coast, close to some of the beaches that draw people to this part of Greece, and it keeps the easy, sunlit rhythm of a Cycladic village rather than the bustle of the main town. It suits travellers who want space and privacy, and who are happy to have a car and explore the island's beaches, tavernas and whitewashed lanes at their own pace. We list three villas in Plintri, which makes it a good base for families or groups of friends travelling together. Days tend to be slow: a morning swim, lunch in the shade, an afternoon on a terrace as the light changes. Evenings are for the short drive to dinner or for staying put and watching the sun go down over the Aegean.
