Despre Sorrento

Sorrento sits on the Campania coast, on cliffs above the Bay of Naples, with views across the water toward Vesuvius and the island of Capri. The town itself is lively and walkable, with narrow streets, lemon groves and a long tradition of welcoming visitors. It is a good base for people who want both the sea and easy days out to Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast or Capri. We list four villas in Sorrento, so a stay here is likely to be private and self-contained rather than a hotel room. Days tend to move between the water, the town and the terraces in between. It suits families, groups of friends or couples who prefer their own space and the freedom to set their own pace.
