Tremezzina

Tremezzina is a scattered lakeside area on the western shore of Lake Como, made up of small villages that share a green, mountainous backdrop and a mild climate. It is known for historic villas and gardens, quiet waterfronts, and ferries that connect the different parts of the lake. People who enjoy slow days, walking, and boat trips tend to feel at home here. A stay in Tremezzina usually means settling into a villa with space to spread out, perhaps with a garden or a terrace. Days pass with lake views, visits to nearby villages, and the rhythm of the ferries. It suits families, couples, and groups of friends who want a relaxed base for exploring Lake Como without being in the middle of the busiest spots.
