Melton Manor is an exclusive-use safari villa, which is part of the Kwandwe Private Game Reserve. This location offers a sophisticated safari experience to the discerning traveller with understated luxury and one of the highest land-to-guest ratios in South Africa. Extending over 22,000 hectares of untouched wilderness, the reserve is home to the famous Big 5, and a remarkable variety of predators. Kwandwe flanks both the north and south banks of the Great Fish River and it privately owns 30 km of river frontage. Surrounded by the breathtaking vistas of the Afromontane forests, Melton Manor is built in a U-shape. The four en-suite bedrooms are strategically clustered around the central courtyard with its large beautiful swimming pool. Melton Manor is a contemporary farmhouse that incorporates modern touches. Distinctively South African, this luxury villa features simple colonial furniture pieces combined with large comfortable sofas. The interior has a unique charm created by a blend of textured fabrics and different materials. Guests can enjoy various communal living areas and are able to gather in the dining room with its farm-style kitchen or at the big farmhouse table on the terrace. As part of this special safari experience, guests can also choose to sample delicious meals at the picnic site at the mid-game drive. This holiday home provides different private spaces and living areas for guests to relax and unwind when not out exploring the wilderness. The bedrooms are a great place to retreat and relax on the large verandas, the comfortable beds, and the large bathtubs that offer expansive views of the bushvelds. This property is ideal for families and small groups of friends traveling together, representing the perfect add-on to an itinerary including Cape Town and the famous Garden Route. At Kwandwe, the days are designed to thrill with intimate wildlife encounters and pamper with warm South African hospitality. The smallest detail of every stay is taken care of by a team of private chefs, a butler, a ranger, and a tracker.
