Nacascolo

Nacascolo is a small area on Costa Rica's Guanacaste coast, part of the country's dry tropical northwest, where the landscape runs from rolling hills down to the Pacific. It is known for its beaches, warm climate and the stretch of coastline around the Gulf of Papagayo. Travellers who enjoy sun, swimming and a slow pace tend to feel at home here, and villas suit groups and families who want their own space rather than a hotel room. A stay in Nacascolo is built around the outdoors: mornings that are bright and dry, afternoons by the water or in the shade, and evenings that stay warm. Days pass easily between the beach and the villa, with the option of exploring the wider Guanacaste region. It is a place for people who like their holidays quiet and unhurried, with plenty of sun.
