Porto-Vecchio

Porto-Vecchio sits on the southeast coast of Corsica, where the town's old granite lanes lead down toward a busy harbour and the water beyond. It is a place people come to for the sea: long sandy beaches, quiet coves, and the scrub-covered hills that run behind them. The town itself has a lively side in summer, with cafés and shops around the port, and a calmer rhythm the rest of the year. We list two villas here, both private places to stay rather than hotel rooms. A villa suits families, groups of friends, or anyone who wants their own space, a kitchen, and time outside. Days tend to be simple: swim in the morning, eat late, and let the evening stretch out on the terrace. A car helps you reach the beaches and the mountain roads inland.
