Praslin

Praslin is the Seychelles' second-largest island, known for its palm forests, granite boulders and the UNESCO-listed Vallée de Mai, where the endemic coco de mer palm grows. Beaches like Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette are among the island's best-known, and the pace is slow, with small villages, nature trails and quiet coves rather than resorts and nightlife. It suits travellers who want nature, walking and time on the sand. We list one place to stay on Praslin, a villa. A stay here is about settling into island time: mornings outdoors, afternoons on a beach or a trail, evenings cooking in or eating simply. Having your own villa gives you space and privacy, and the freedom to shape each day around the weather and your mood.
