Seychelles

The Seychelles is an island nation in the Indian Ocean, known for granite boulders, palm-lined beaches and warm, humid weather through much of the year. It suits travellers who are happy to slow down and spend their days outdoors, on the water or on foot, rather than in busy resorts or cities. Honeymooners, families and divers all find something here, as do people who simply want quiet and space. A stay here usually means settling into a villa or a house rather than a large hotel, with days shaped by the sea and the light. Mornings are for swimming or a walk before the heat builds, afternoons for shade and a book, evenings for cooking in or eating out. Island life moves at its own pace, and that is the point.
