Spain

Spain is a country of distinct regions, from the green north to the dry interior and the long Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts. It is known for its food culture, late evenings, historic towns and varied landscapes. Travellers come for city breaks, beach time, walking and road trips, and the climate varies widely depending on where you go. Summer is hot inland and on the southern coast, milder in the north. We list three villas in Spain, so this is a good destination if you want your own space rather than a hotel room. A villa stay suits families, groups of friends or couples who like cooking at home, slow mornings and days that follow their own rhythm. Having a base of your own makes it easy to mix time outdoors with outings to nearby towns and markets.
