14 guests · 4 bedrooms · 4 beds · 4 bathrooms

Experience contemporary luxury in the setting of a charming, traditional beach town at this Villa. Set on a cliff over the village of Salema, this breathtaking vacation rental boasts views over one of the prettiest landscapes in the Algarve and a location just steps from the beach. Share a sun-splashed holiday with up to eight friends and family at this four-bedroom haven—or a honeymoon-style escape with your beloved. Terraced gardens set into the hillside offer sea views at every level. At the rooftop, you’ll find an expansive outdoor living area with a pool, lounging and dining areas, and a barbecue. Inside the villa, high-tech amenities range from a satellite TV and DVD player to Wi-Fi. Nearly wall-to-wall windows on two sides bring the sea views into the open-plan living and dining room. Sleek furnishings add modern flair, while a color scheme of rich blues and crisp whites is a nod to the oceanfront location. The fully equipped kitchen is tucked behind the great room, but keeps the color scheme going with glossy white cabinetry and a cerulean backsplash. Each of the four bedrooms has a king bed and en-suite bathroom; one bedroom also has its own fireplace, and two of the bedrooms share a terrace. In each suite, you’ll find the same modern lines, cool tones and thoughtful details such as built-in storage. While the villa is a private seaside retreat, it’s only a 1-minute walk from the Salema beach, a stretch of golden sand frequented by visitors and locals alike. Pause to watch the fishermen unload the day’s catch, or while away an afternoon at restaurant on the water. For golf, tennis and a spa, drive to Santo Antonio Resort; for more shopping and dining options, drive into Lagos.
